Pallenberg Dress

The Pallenberg Maxi Dress in our 'Paphos' story. 

Inspired by the vintage embroidered patches which we so often come across during our travels to India, its important to note that the piece is actually Afghan-inspired.

Rendered in cotton crepe fabric, the v-neck dress has elastic cuffs and matching tassels and pom-poms, but the highlight is the chest embroidery. 

We purchased a vintage piece of embroidery to take inspiration and produced the multi-colour design. The problem? The difficulty in achieving the faded colours of a vintage piece. 

The solution? Run a double stone-wash process to give both fabric and embroidery colours a slightly tattered effect. Bingo.
